How to Stop/Disable Windows 10 Update?

Method 1

Step1: Go to the Windows Settings then click on the Update & Security option.

Step2: Now scroll up and just simply click on the Advanced options.

Step3: You can control your Windows update from the Advance settings features. To pause the Windows update for some while under the Pause Updates option. Just click on the box and select a date till you want to pause your Windows 10 update.

That’s done now your Windows 10 update will remain to pause up to date you selected.

Method 2

Step1: Open Task Manager of your computer. It’s easy for shortcuts to right-click on the taskbar then click on the Task Manager option.

Step2: Now the Task Manager window will be open, simply click on the Service option.

Step3: Then a new Service window will be open and now find Windows Update [for shortcut press W+U key on your keyboard]. After you find it, right-click on it and select the Stop option.

That’s done now your Windows 10 update will be stoped successfully.
