Before you proceeding this tutorial, make sure you have already installed the Wondershare Filmora video editing software on your device.

How to Detach/Separate Audio from Video in Filmora?
Step1: Open Wondershare Filmora software on your device.
Step2: Select the ” Full Feature Mode” with the 16: 9 widescreen ratio option and proceed with the steps.
Step3. Now import the media file from which you want to detach the audio file by simply clicking the “Import Media Files Here” button. Then Browse and choose the media file from your computer folder location.
Step4: Add the media file on the media track by simply right-click and hold the media file then drag it into the media track.
Step5: Now right-click on the media track and select the “Audio Detach” option [shortcut Ctrl + Alt + D].
That’s done, the audio file will be separated from the original video file. Now you can simply delete or remove this detached audio file from the original video file by clicking the “Delete” key. As well as you can remove the video file and keep it’s audio-only.
You can also use the “Mute” feature to hide/erase the audio of the video file, simply click Ctrl + Shift + M key on the keyboard.
