Sometimes as your blog grew up you must feel of need more authors to contribute to your blog or in another scenario if you're thinking to create a multi-author blog hosted in Blogger CMS.
But!
Does Blogger support a multi-author Blog system?
Most of the newbie blogger users thought that Blogger CMS doesn't support a multi-author system, but that's wrong. You can easily add multiple authors to your Blogger blog.
So, today in this post I'm going to share with you guys how to add multiple authors to the Blogger blog with a simple step-by-step guide with screenshot instructions.
Let's talk...
How to Add Multiple Authors to Blogger
Step 1: First log in to your Blogger dashboard.
Step 2: Now click on the Settings option and then click on the Invite more author option under the Permission section.
Step 3: Type the email address of the new author you want to add or invite and then click on the Send button.
Step 4: Then an invitation email will be sent to that email address via Blogger. Once the author accepts your invitation he/she will able to post articles on your blog.
If the author you have invited does not already sign up in Blogger then he/she must be signed up using the same email address.
That's done.
You have now successfully added an author to your Blogger blog.
Let's look over the dashboard of a Blogger blog author.
Admin Dashboard vs Author Dashboard
Let's talk about the differences between the admin dashboard and authors dashboard or simply I mean what can admin do but authors can't.
- Authors can only post and edit his/her post.
- Authors can't post any pages for your blog.
- Authors can't see comments on your blog.
- Authors can't change the theme/layout of the blog.
- The author has no access to the blog settings.
