Cropping an image with MS Paint is simple. Follow the complete steps below on your Windows to crop an image using Microsoft Paint 

1. Open Microsoft Paint, to find it press the Windows search 🔎 option and type "Paint" and select Paint App

2. Go to the File option (at the top-left corner) and click on the Open option then select the image file   

3. If the image is large and not fit with the screen then adjust the size with the zoom-in zoom-out slider(at the bottom right corner)

4. Click on the Select option under the Home tab and select a selection shape to crop the image
Select the area of the image to crop with the selection shape tool and click on the Crop option

After you finish all the steps mentioned then the image will be cropped successfully.
